Tools Needed
Steps
1. Wash your hair so it is soft and clean and free of any products to start with.
2. Blowdry your hair. For added volume, flip your hair over and blowdry from underneath.
3. Once your hair is completely dry, brush it through and plug in your Flat Iron or Large Barrel Curling Iron so it can be heating up. While it is heating, spray some heat protecting spray on your hair.
4. For this look, part your hair vertically because it will look more natural. So seperate your hair into 2 so 1 rests on each shoulder. Now take these and split them into 5 sections each so you will have 10 sections.
5. Start with your left side so clip the right side away with section clips.
FOR THE FLAT IRON
1. Take one of your 5 left sections. You need to start curling from about ear height for Selena's natural look. So, place the flat iron at ear height then twist the flat iron 360 degrees and pull down slowly until you reach the end of your hair.
2. You should have a very lose wave/curl like Selena. Spray this with hairspray and move onto another section.
3. Spray each wave/curl with hairspray after you've finished. Once you've finished the left side, move on to the right and repeat.
4. Once your whole head is wavy/curly, part you hair from the middle of your eyebrow, to the left.
5. Curl your bangs like you did for all of your hair and spray with hairspray :)
FOR THE LARGE BARREL CURLING IRON
1. Take one of your 5 left sections. You need to start curling from about ear height for Selena's natural look. So, place the curling iron near your ear and wrap your hair around it loosely. Remember to curl away from your face and DON'T use the clip because it will make your curls look less natural. Hold for about 10 second because you don't want tight curls.
2. Unwrap your hair from the barrel and you should have a very lose wave/curl like Selena! Spray this with hairspray and move onto another section.
3. Spray each wave/curl with hairspray after you've finished. Once you've finished the left side, move on to the right and repeat.
4. Once your whole head is wavy/curly, part you hair from the middle of your eyebrow, to the left.
5. Curl your bangs like you did for all of your hair and spray with hairspray :)
Finally, spray a coat of shinespray on your hair for Selena's extra glossy look and your DONE !!! :)
