Tools Needed

  • Blowdryer
  • Hairbrush
  • Heat Protectant
  • 1 1/2 Inch Curling Iron
  • Hairspray
  • Shinespray
  • 4 Small Clips

    • Steps

    01. Make sure your hair is clean and product free to start with. This hairstyle will be a lot easier if you have washed your hair the night before and let it dry naturally but if you haven't, wash it and then blowdry it (don't forget your heat protecting spray!) until it is completely dry.
    02. Part your bangs to any side. Your choice :) (Selena's are parted to the left)
    03. Heat up your curling iron. While it is heating, brush your hair so it is free of any knots.
    04. Seperate your hair into 3 layers; Bottom, Middle and Top. Pin the Middle and Top layer away.
    05. Now take your 1 1/2 inch curling iron (because Selena's curls are big and loose in this hairstyle) and take a 2 inch section of hair. Wrap the hair around the barrell of the curling iron. (If your curling iron has a clamp, don't use it)
    06. Hold for around 10-20 seconds (longer if your hair is quite thick and long) and then let go of the hair and you should have a perfect loose curl !
    07. Repeat this for the whole of the Bottom layer of your hair.
    08. Unclip your Middle layer and curl that in the same way and do the same for the top layer.
    09. Take 2 1 inch sections of your hair from each side of your head (quite close to your face) and twist them slightly and pull them to the back of your head and secure with 2 small clips each.
    010. Take your bangs and curl them slightly with the curling iron.
    011. Finish with a coat of hairspray and shinespray for Selena's extra glossy look.
