Hair #65- Teen Choice Awards 2009:

Hair about shoulder length is recommended for this hairstyle

Tools Needed

  • Hairbrush
  • 1 Inch Curling Iron
  • Hairspray
  • Ponytail

    • Steps

    01. Make sure your hair is clean and product free to start with. It is best that you start off with hair that is a day old (as in its been a day since you last washed your hair).
    02. Heat up your curling iron. While it is heating, brush your hair so it is free of any knots.
    03. Now take your curling iron and take about a 1 inch section of hair. Wrap the hair around the barrell of the curling iron. (If your curling iron has a clamp, don't use it) Hold for about 5 seconds. This should create a VERY lose curl, and it should look pretty much like a wave.
    04. Repeat step five for all of your hair. Then take all of your hair and pull it back as if you are putting it in a mid-high ponytail. Create a very soft bun (not tight)
    05. Take your bangs, if you have any, and comb them back (look at the picture of Selena to know how to do it). Hairspray immediately to make them stay.
    06. Hairspray your bun and your bangs.
